MAKINA
Show room of Makina Store in Katowice. 18 square meter of a show room in Silesia for women clothing brand. The challenge of the space was it's size. To fit a 100 pieces of the clothing collection on 18 square meter. To do that a vertical, full height closet was design at the back of the wall. The closet combine boutique like space for the collection, wardrobe, cash desk and storage. To access higher storage space a custom made, rolling library ladder was attached to the furniture. Makina Store is a space for contemporary clothing brand focusing on slow fashion, high quality hand-sawn products, sourcing its materials from local suppliers. The brand uses its verbal identity as a provocation for its audience to diversely interpret the meaning and purpose of the words.
